Sandra is an experienced senior executive, bringing years of successful leadership in financial services, start-ups, business development, and client management in both developed and emerging markets. She has worked extensively on corporate and transaction banking solutions, strategic partnerships with financial institutions, business and operational restructuring, commercial and multi-lateral debt and equity deals, private equity, risk and compliance management, business strategies and solutions for both affluent corporate, individual high-net-worth stakeholders, and start-ups. Sandra founded the Burgundy Hills Company in 2016, an agribusiness and food venture focused on Myanmar. Since then, she has successfully set up operations facilities across Myanmar, expanded trade deals in both volume and market, lead a growing team of local employees, growers, aggregators, and trading partners, and secured grant and equity investment from well-regarded local and international funders. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Global Women Corporate Directors – Myanmar Chapter, an independent board director and an audit committee chair of a microfinance Institute, a board of director and an audit committee member of Myanmar Institute of Directors, a board member of local private energy startup, a committee member of the Myanmar Corn Industrial Association. She is also a certified project management professional, and a member and trainer of Myanmar Institute of Directors. In addition to founding and managing the Burgundy Hills Company, she had/has worked and consulted for Yoma Strategic Holdings in Singapore, KBZ Group and Yoma Bank in Myanmar, and Fortune 100 financial and franchise companies in the U.S. Sandra is an alumnus of the University of California.
