U Myint Zaw

Myint Zaw is a Myanmar’s well-respected and highly regarded consultant and advisor to national and international organizations and companies in the following areas: Retail, Beverage, Marketing, CFT, Education, Telecom, Consultancy, Banking, Coaching, Public Speaker.

Over his professional career, he had successfully led the launch of internation brands like Milo and 100 plus isotonic drinks in Myanmar and played and instrumental role in the success of Myanmar’s No.1 Beer Brand, Myanmar Beer. After 25 years of market experience, knowledge & network, he founded his own firm named Ground Solution group of companies in October 2014 which focuses on consultant business, advisor, project and people management, development & training tailored to the needs of organizations.

He has been appointed as Managing Director in 2017 re-appointed as Senior Managing Director in 2017, Chief Executive Officer in 2022 and Vice Chairman in 2024 for his growth initiatives and leadership abilities.

He has been actively involved in special coaching projects in local and overseas entrepreneurs and educational institutions. He teaches various long-duration programs such as the Two-years post graduate program in Marketing and Management. He has authored and published over 50 Economic and Marketing articles in leading journals. He has authored and edited various books, chapters in books and research papers. He is also one of most influential business writers/management and Marketing experts in Myanmar.

Myint Zaw serves as member on the advisory board of various institutions as well as member of the committees constituted by the government industry associations. He also initiated Corporate and Community programs conducted by Myanmar Brewery Ltd. Under his leadership, the innovative Corporate Social Responsibilities programs for Sustainability and environment care was successfully launched. He also a founder of “Professional Marketers Associations (PMA)”, and voluntarily works as president. PMA aims for developing professional local marketers and contributing Marketing Norms to youth Myanmar Marketers. PMA also introduces oversea guest speakers to Myanmar audience, conducting public talks, TV programs & interviews with local & oversea TV channels like Channel News Azamat. Regular Q&A sessions from Mandalay & Pyinsawaddy FM radio are conducted under the PMA umbrella. Recently, PMA members shared theirs experiences on Good Morning Myanmar Live TV Talk program at MRTV4 and Channel 7.
