- To manage your membership including recruitment, processing and termination of your membership with us;
- To provide you with membership benefits and services that we and/or business partners provide, or on behalf;
- To provide you with Board Appointment Services;
- To provide you with training;
- To assist you with your enquiries;
- To process payment for your membership or any other purchases and subscriptions;
- To help us improve our services to you;
- To conduct research, survey and interviews;
- To keep you updated on our events;
- In relation to your registration for our Learning Series training courses, events, seminars, workshops and/or conferences;
- To conduct statistical studies and analysis by us on our behalf;

MIoD will take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized disclosure. Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, your Personal Data may be provided, for the purposes listed above (where applicable), to the following entities or parties, whether they are located in Myanmar or overseas:
- Our professional advisers such as auditors
- Relevant government regulators, statutory boards or authorities or law enforcement agencies to comply with any laws, rules, guidelines and regulations or schemes imposed by any government authority;
- Third party reward, loyalty, privileges and co-branded program providers;
- Business partners that provide any membership services and benefits; and
- Any other person in connection with the purposes set forth above.

When you interact with us on our website, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser.

- MIoD will take reasonable efforts to protect Personal Data in our procession or our control by making reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. However, we cannot completely guarantee the security of any Personal Data we may have collected from you or about you, or that for example no harmful code will enter our website (for example viruses, bugs, trojan horses, spyware or adware). You should be aware of the risks associated with using the website.
