Daw Kyawt Kay Thi Win, Country Director, Business Coalition for Gender Equality Association (BCGE)

Daw Kyawt Kay Thi Win is a management professional with more than eighteen years of progressive experience in the development, public and private sectors. Having worked in various senior management roles in local and international organisations, she has led the Business Coalition for Gender Equality Association as Country Director since its foundation in 2018. She has developed a sustainable business model of workplace gender equality, which guides organisations in developing a clear vision of their diversity, equity and inclusion journey towards sustainable business. The Know Your WGE Assessment Kyawt Kay Thi Win established is the first workplace gender equality assessment in the country, which guides organisations to understand the opportunities, strengths, gaps and areas to improve in fostering equitable and inclusive workplaces.

She is a thought leader and a strong advocate of DEI, defining the association as the centre of excellence and a trusted advisor on unconscious bias, social and cultural norms, stereotypes, workplace gender equality, diversity and inclusion in Myanmar. Kyawt Kay Thi Win has become a strong voice for the business sector agenda on DEI, winning the Women Icons Network’s Asia D&I Champion Award 2022. She is the president of the ASEAN Human Development Organisation, Myanmar Chapter, and sits on the Advisory Board of Myanmar Sustainable Business Network.

 

Daw Maw Maw Tun, Founder and Managing Director, Top HR Solutions Co., Ltd.

Daw Maw Maw Tun stands as a preeminent figure in the realm of HR, renowned for her profound expertise in strategic HR practices and an astute comprehension of Myanmar’s intricate market dynamics. With over 15 years of diverse experience across international organizations, including diplomatic roles and over 5 years as Director of Administration and HR Management in the private sector, her meticulous HR policies have empowered business and led to the establishment of TOP HR Solutions in 2014 and started providing HR services to many local and international organizations.

In 2015, she founded Myanmar Career Bridge Academy (MCBA), empowering thousands with job-ready skills for socio-economic sustainability. Her published works on Labour Laws in 2019 are testament to her impact as an HR practitioner and entrepreneur.

Until now, Ms. Maw Maw Tun’s and TOP HR team has serviced 180+ organizations in Myanmar, graduating 6000+ individuals from MCBA. Her visionary initiatives exemplify a transformative legacy in Myanmar’s HR landscape.

In addition, Daw Maw Maw Tun is Executive Committee Member of Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs’ Association (MWEA), Executive Committee Member (Auditor) of Myanmar Private TVET Association (MPTA), Executive Committee Member (Auditor) of Local Employment Companies Association (LECA), Member of The Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), Member of College of Myanmar Arbitrators (Myanmar Arbitration Center) and Member of Myanmar Institute of Directors (MIoD).

 

Daw Wah Wah Min, Managing Director, Kaung Lin Khant Co., Ltd.

Daw Wah Wah Min is a founder and a Managing Director of Skills for Success Recruitment and Human Resource Service. she has about a decade of experience in training and social enterprise consulting, working with organizations such as the British Council Myanmar and the ILO. She is a Central Executive Committee member of Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Association (MWEA), taking charge of the Responsible Business Committee. She won the Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Award from MWEA and ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Award from ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Association. Wah Wah holds an LL.B and MBA from Yangon Institute of Economics and attended Director Certification Program from Thai IOD, Audit Committee Master Program from IFC, International Labour Standards and Corporate Responsibilities Training from International Training Centre of ILO (Turin), Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from AOTS, Japan and Active Citizens Master Facilitators Program from the British Council in England.
