Dr. Aye Aye Mar is a distinguished academic and leadership expert whose career bridges education, finance, and ethical business practice. As founder and Academic Director of BIY College and co-founder of Heroes International School, she has cultivated innovation and empowered future leaders. Her global experience includes serving as a Code of Conduct Auditor for GoodCorporation (UK) and Foreign Exchange Consultant in London, enriching her insights into international finance and corporate ethics.

She holds a PhD in Foreign Direct Investment and an MSc in Financial Management. Her academic excellence is recognized through awards such as the ABE Top Paper Prize (2000) and the Education for Commendation Award (ABE UK, 2023). As a Fellow of ABE (UK) and member of its Global Advisory Committee, she contributes to shaping global education strategies.

She has trained NGOs and banks since 2007 in Leadership, Financial Management, and Total Quality Management. Her mentorship of women entrepreneurs and her role as Secretary General of MYANWEN reflect her commitment to inclusive leadership. She also serves as Treasurer of Kokine Swimming Club and MAPUC. With strategic clarity, empathy, and global perspective, she brings transformative leadership to every classroom.

U Thet Htun Oo

U Thet Htun Oo received a Bachelor of Economics (Statistics) from Yangon University of Economics in 1984. He obtained a Diploma in Computer Science (D.C.Sc) from Yangon University of Computer Science in 1997, and a Master of Development Studies (M.Dev.S) from Yangon University of Economics in 2011.

He has over 30 years of experience in the banking and finance field. He is a founding member of the Myanmar Securities Exchange Centre (MSEC) and the Yangon Stock Exchange. He worked at MSEC for 19 years before being transferred to the Yangon Stock Exchange as Executive Senior Manager in November 2015, where he served until his retirement in 2024. Since June 2024, he has been serving as Deputy Managing Director of CB Securities.

He has been actively contributing to financial education by writing business and economic literature in journals and magazines, publishing books related to the stock market and business, delivering stock market educational programs through television channels, and participating in training courses on financial markets.

In 2012, he received the Htun Foundation Literary Award (Economics) for his book “Handbook of Stock and Share Market”, and in 2015, he was again honored with the Htun Foundation Literary Award (Economics) for his book “Public Companies, Stock Exchanges and Investment Markets”.

In 2025, he received the National Literacy Award for his book “The Essential Small Business Guide to Financial Management,” which was published in 2024.

Daw Khine Wai Thwe

Khine is a Certified Director and Faculty Member of the Myanmar Institute of Directors (MIoD) and a USAID Women Corporate Directors alumna. She brings extensive expertise in corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory engagement through senior leadership roles in leading Myanmar companies as well as multinational organizations including International SOS and British American Tobacco (BAT).

She previously led the government relations department at Yoma Group, aligning regulatory strategies with business objectives to support sustainable growth for listed entities Yoma Strategic Holdings (YSH) and First Myanmar Investment (FMI), alongside their development initiatives. Prior to that, as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Company Secretary at Digital Money Myanmar Ltd. (Wave Money), Khine was responsible for corporate governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, stakeholder communications, and fostering strong relationships with regulators and partners.

A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Khine has partnered with the Business Coalition for Gender Equality (BCGE) and collaborated with EuroCHAM, AmCHAM, and BritCHAM to promote responsible investment policies and improve ease of doing business. Through her work with the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA), she has advanced digital financial literacy to empower MSMEs in Myanmar.

As an Executive Committee Member of the Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network (MYANWEN), Khine actively supports women entrepreneurs by providing mentorship and practical resources focused on empowerment and growth.

Beyond her professional commitments, Khine embraces the Rotary spirit of “Service Above Self” as a dedicated Rotarian. She also enjoys traveling and fashion.

Daw Nandar Thaung

Daw Nandar Thaung is a member of management team in taking care of Corporate Governance, risk & Compliance, tax & regulatory, partnership management, and brand protection awareness in her professional experiences in combining of Laws and business management; she has more than 18 years of experiences in her career life in FMCG, Oil & Energy, Construction & Power Sectors. Previously she worked for METRO Wholesale Myanmar as a Head of Legal and Compliance.

Prior to that, she was a General Counsel and Head of Communication & External Affairs; Regulatory at Unilever Myanmar which she contributed her best in Sustainable Development program for women and farmers in rural area. Presently, she is representing as a Group Legal Director of Europe & Asia Commercial Services Group of companies, which one of the leading local conglomerates companies in FMCG Sector.

In her capacity, she finished her study at Institutes of Economics, Yangon Master of Business Administration (MBA) and extended her post graduate studies at University of London specialized in Competition Laws graduated in 2022. Her most recent crediting was awarding as a Colleague of Arbitration at Myanmar Arbitration Centre. She is also member of ASEAM IP association as an IP Practitioner. She does her continuous learning at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) at IP asset management on intellectual property rights.

Wah Wah Min is an experienced trainer, consultant, and responsible business leader with a strong track record in entrepreneurship, recruitment consultancy, training, and corporate governance. She is the Founder and Managing Director of Kaung Lin Khant Co., Ltd, operating under the brand Skills for Success, which has been delivering ethical and affordable HR and training services to Myanmar SMEs since 2018.

Her leadership is rooted in responsible business values—emphasizing anti-corruption, data privacy, fair pricing, non-discrimination, and environmental sustainability. She is a committed advocate for ethical leadership, transparency, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Wah Wah Min has served as a Trainer and Consultant in Corporate Governance with the Myanmar Institute of Directors (MIoD) since 2019, facilitating director-level governance programs. She has also contributed as a trainer and consultant in social enterprise initiatives with British Council Myanmar and supported ILO-led SME development projects.

In addition to her training role, Wah Wah Min is actively engaged in advancing gender inclusion and SME capacity development through consultancy work with IFC, Vision Fund (World Vision), and Intellecap (India). She plays an active leadership role as a Central Executive Committee Member of the Myanmar Women Entrepreneur Association (MWEA), promoting governance, compliance, and inclusive economic participation.

Daw Muyar Lunbeck

Banking Consultant

Daw Muyar Lunbeck is a seasoned commercial banking executive and management external parties on issues including but not limited to corporate governance, consultant with exposure to both developed and emerging market banking environments. She has over 14 years’ experience in various commercial banking domains, including risk management, trade finance, corporate lending, mortgage underwriting, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance.

From 2016 to 2018, Muyar worked as head of secured credit, new product development and trade finance for a Myanmar bank that was the leading recipient of IFC technical assistance and investment capital. In this capacity she functioned as the bank’s senior point of contact in the implementation of programs assisted by the IFC.

Since then, she has worked with different multilateral institutions in implementing a direct payment program to assist mothers of undernourished children, and in designing and implementing a renewable energy financing program for a local client bank.

Before her return to Myanmar, Muyar worked for large US banks primarily in risk management and underwriting. In these capacities she developed and implemented due diligence programs to mitigate credit risk, and was also involved in the origination, funding, servicing and selling of mortgage-backed loan portfolios to government-related and private sector enterprises.

Training colleagues and regulatory standards, risk management, financial management and technical program implementation has always been a core component of the work that Muyar has delivered as an employee and consultant. Muyar has an MBA from the Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand) and a B.Sc. in Physics from Yangon University.
