Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026

We are pleased to share that the Myanmar Institute of Directors (MIoD) successfully held its Annual General Meeting 2026 via Zoom on Friday, 18 September 2026.

The AGM was chaired by U Thura Ko Ko, Board Chair, with Daw Thiri Thant Mon, Executive Director, presenting the Directors’ Report and MIoD Annual Report for the year ended 31 March 2026. Members also adopted the financial statements and approved the new MIoD Policy Document and Constitution.

We are pleased to announce the re-election of seven Directors:

The AGM also marked an exciting new chapter for MIoD with the introduction of Daw May Thet Win as our new CEO. We warmly welcome her and look forward to the journey ahead.

A special thank you to Daw Thiri Thant Mon for her dedicated leadership, hard work and support throughout her time as Executive Director. We are grateful that she will continue to contribute to MIoD as a Board member.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our retiring Board members, Dr. Su Hla Han and Daw Sandra Min, and retiring Board Secretary, Dr. Sa Sa Nyunt, for their valuable service and guidance to MIoD.
