An insightful discussion through presentation and discussion in the event namely “?????????? ???? ?????????? – ?? ???? ???????? ?????????” organized by BritCham and member organizations.

Vicky Bowman (Director of Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business – MCRB cum BoD of MIoD) and Ma Cherry Trivedi (CEO of MIoD cum Founder/Managing Director of Ayuroma Advisory International Pte., Ltd) participated together as speakers and identifying all the areas where businesses are underprepared and at risk from various threats.

MIoD Launching and Networking Event August 5, 2019

Myanmar IOD launched the first of many Programs (Director Certification Program) in Mandalay with an overwhelming attendance of Mandalay businesses and Mandalay DICA along with DICA experts from Yangon on August 5th evening at Hilton Mandalay Hotel.

The networking session was attended by over 80 people and the first DCP (Director Certification Program) which will be conducted from 6th – 8th August 2019 will have over 30 registrants for the first batch in Mandalay.
The session was opened by Ma Cherry Trivedi, CEO of MIOD, Anar Aliyev from IFC – International Finance Corporation and Peter Brimble from DaNa FacilityAung Myat Khaing from MIOD team acted as master of ceremony.

Consultation and Coordination Meeting with Private Sector from Mandalay Region July 26, 2019

MIoD conducted Consultation and Coordination meeting with MRCCI, Private Sector from Mandalay Region at 1:00 PM on 26th July 2019. During the meeting U Aung Myat Khaing, Head of Operation and Business Development from MIoD met with U Thet Htun Lin, Joint Secretary and Daw Ni Ni Tun, Joint Auditor from MRCCI to discus about launching Business Management BoD Training at Mandalay Hilton Hotel on 6th August 2019. Myanmar’s Economy Towards GE2020 and Beyond May 13, 2019

The Myanmar Times has concluded “Myanmar’s economy towards GE2020 and beyond”, held at Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel today.

The event gathered investors, executives, managers, policymakers and researchers to look at what lies ahead for Myanmar’s economy. It was made possible by the generous support of M Tower, Eneos, Marga Group, Bata and Tun Commercial Bank.

Special thanks to the five business leaders on our panel. Respectful Workplaces: Exploring the Costs of Bullying and Sexual Harassment to Businesses in Myanmar March 19, 2019

Businesses in Myanmar can improve their labor productivity by up to 14 percent if they addressed bullying and sexual harassment reveals a report released today by IFC – International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, and UK funded the DaNa Facility. The report, Respectful Workplaces: Exploring the Costs of Bullying and Sexual Harassment to Businesses in Myanmar, contains the findings of a study which was conducted to determine the prevalence and cost of bullying and harassment in the agribusiness, finance, retail and tourism sectors.The full report can be download from http://www.danafacility.com/…/IFC_RespectfulWorkplaces_ENG_…
