
The Batch 16 of Director Certification Program (DCP) was restructured as 4 full days in-person weekends program on 14 – 15 and 21 – 22 June 2025 at Novotel Yangon Max.

On the first week, the attendees were able to learn Introduction to Corporate Governance, Board’s Roles and Responsibilities, Board Composition and Structure, Board Effectiveness, Myanmar’s Legal Environment for Directors, Overview of Corporate Finance, Responsible and Responsive Board Leadership and Directors, Disclosure and Reporting.
On Week 2, the attendees were able to learn Enterprise Risk Management, COI, RPTs, and AML/CFT, Financial Statements: What they tell you and what they don’t tell you, Financial Statement Analysis: Common sized financial statements and ratios, Accounting fraud and Internal controls, The Art of Companies Administration and Family Businesses and Succession Planning.
We sincerely hope that the topics discussed in the program as well as the interaction with your fellow DCP16 cohort participants have enhanced your appreciation and understanding of corporate governance, in particular your role as board directors.
